We think sustainability is important!
The material used to manufacture our products comes from the Netherlands and consists of 2 parts: a mineral powder and a water-based acrylic emulsion.
The mineral powder can be regarded as an environmentally friendly material. It is a natural mineral. It is sustainably purchased and produced using environmentally responsible processes and therefore has a low environmental impact.
The acrylic emulsions used to make the fluid are known for their good performance properties, such as durability, flexibility, weather resistance and UV stability. They are considered environmentally friendly compared to traditional solvent-based coatings.

Recyclability
The material can easily be recycled or reused. Our terrazzo is a well-known example.

It is non-toxic and does not release harmful chemicals or pollutants into the air, water, or soil.

Energy efficiency
The production and use of the mineral powder and acrylic resin consumes minimal energy and resources, making it very energy efficient.

Sustainability
The resources from which our material is manufactured are considered to have a relatively low impact on the environment. Less material is therefore required than with materials such as concrete and bricks to achieve the same result. In addition, it has a long lifespan >50 years.
Everything degradable!
We also try to take responsibility in our shipping materials. For example, we avoid plastic and use recycled paper and cardboard and we use protective material that is biodegradable. For example, if you hold the green chips of the protective material under the tap, the material will dissolve. That saves waste ;-)
